PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI AUGMENTED REALITY PADA MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN LAPISAN PERMUKAAN BUMI BERBASIS 3D

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi pada bahan ajar untuk siswa dinilai sangat membantu dalam memberikan materi pelajaran geografi lapisan permukaan bumi yang bersifat abstrak, karena perangkat ajar berbasis multimedia dapat mendukung sistem pembelajaran di sekolah yang cenderung mengunakan metode ceramah (konvensional). Untuk mempermudah pemahaman dalam materi lapisan permukaan bumi tersebut, dirancang sebuah Buku ARLitosfer yang memanfaatkan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Selain mampu menggabungkan objek virtual dengan realita sebenarnya, teknologi AR memungkinkan pengguna melakukan interaksi 3 dimensi secara langsung sehingga lebih mampu memberikan kesan tersendiri pada pengguna. Buku ARLitosfer merupakan buku fisik biasa, namun dalam beberapa halamannya terdapat marker yang digunakan untuk objek virtual yang ingin ditampilkan berupa objek 3D, kemudian ditambahkan dalam penggabungan animasi, audio dan video pada interface multimedia pembelajaran. Telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap sejumlah responden untuk mengetahui ketepatan dalam materi dan kemudahan dalam pengunaan aplikasi ARLitosfer ini, hasilnya 81.87% presentase yang diinterpretasikan dalam kategori sangat setuju diberikan oleh guru bidang studi geografi dan 76.25% presentase yang diinterpretasikan dalam kategori sangat setuju diberikan oleh siswa.References

"The Submission of Manuscripts in softcopy can be sent through a website in the form of a file with the .docx extension (xxxxxx.docx) and NOT in the form of a Portable Document File (PDF). The editor has the right to edit the manuscript for the purpose of improvement and layout setting, without changing the essence of the writing. For significant improvements, the editor will request correction from the author.
