Urgensi Program Maghrib Mengaji sebagai Pembentukan Karakter Anak di Masjid Paripurna Al Ikhwan

The Maghrib Qur’an program aims to cultivate the tradition of reading the Qur’an after Maghrib prayers and has become the vision of the Pekanbaru city government in all Pekanbaru city mosques, especially the Al Ikhwan Plenary Mosque. Because reciting the Qur’an is one of the worship activities that has been closely linked to the Muslim community in Indonesia since the development of Islam. This research used a descriptive approach qualitative, data can be obtained by collecting data in the form of in-depth interviews and observations inform directly, namely the chairman, secretary and Maghrib Qur’an teachers at the Al Ikhwan plenary mosque. The results of research on the urgency of the Maghrib Qur’an recitation program at the Al Ikhwan Plenary Mosque as the chosen solution to overcome the problems of today's children and teenagers. The Al Ikhwan Plenary Mosque Management Body facilitates a free Maghrib Qur’an recitation program for children and teachers are given incentives from the mosque management. This program can have a positive impact on character formation for future generations.
