Abstract

Kelompok Syi`ah meyakini bahwa hanya Imam sajalah yang mempunyai hak untuk memimpin umat, namun dengan menghilangnya Imam yang ke dua belas secara ajaib, realisasi keyakinan itu berubah. Hal ini terbukti pemerintahan sekarang dijalankan oleh orang yang bukan imam sesungguhnya. Penganut aliran Syi`ah menyetujui pemerintahan yang bukan dipegang imam dalam batas-batas tertentu. Penguasa semacam itu dipandang sebagai pelaksana tugas imam dengan mengambil perbandingan kepada pelaksanan hukum-hukum yang berkaitan dengan peribadatan Islam
