Zakariya al-Anshari was the mujaddid (reformer) in the 10th century Hijra, that was very popular with the studies in the field of fiqh (jurisprudence). One of his worls in this field is a book entitled Fath al-Wahhab bi Syarh Manhaj al-Thullab. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to scholarly activity. In his work, he describes in detail about the laws of fiqh, ranging from thaharah (purification) problems until the problems of qadha (justice), which is the study using a systematic and comprehensive approach to jurisprudence. Zakariya al-Anshari’s book of fiqh are needed by all levels of society; whether scholars for the purpose of writing books, the government in making regulations and legislation, as well as the boarding schools community in curriculum lessonsReferences
