Keberhasilan Karir Guru: Psychological capital Sebagai Landasan Utama

Keberhasilan sebuah karir ditentukan oleh banyak faktor, baik internal maupun eksternal. Salah satu faktor internal yang sangat penting dan memberikan tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi adalah modal psikologis (Psychological capital). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan psychological capital mahasiswa berdasarkan gender. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan melibatkan 73 responden yang merupakan calon guru dari dari Fakutas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah PSQ-24 yang terdiri dari 24 item. Data yang sudah terkumpul akan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dalam variabel psikologis antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Secara khusus, laki-laki cenderung memiliki skor yang lebih tinggi dalam variablel psychological capital, begitu pula dengan aspek-aspeknya laki-laki lebih tinggi efikasi, harapan, resiliensi, dan optimis dibandingkan dengan perempuan. Namun, perbedaan yang signifikan hanya terjadi dalam aspek efikasi, sementara variabel lainnya tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan yang holistik dan inklusif dalam merancang strategi pengembangan profesional dan dukungan psikologis untuk memastikan bahwa semua individu memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk berkembang dan berhasil dalam karir mereka, tanpa memandang jenis kelamin.References
