Pemodelan Ontologi untuk Sistem Informasi Proyek Akhir (SIMPOA) di Politeknik Caltex Riau

Politeknik Caltex Riau menyelenggarakan model pendidikan diploma dengan kurikulum yang di paketkan pada setiap semesternya, sehingga mata Kuliah Proyek Akhir beririsan dengan mata kuliah Kerja Praktet yang menuntut mahasiswa berada di luar kampus. Solusinya disediakan fasilitas Sistem Informasi Manajemen Proyek Akhir (SIMPOA) yang mengatur tahapan Proyek Akhir mulai dari proses pengusulan judul sampai dengan nilai akhir. SIMPOA yang ada saat ini dibuat dengan model relational database, sehingga salah satu tantangan pengembangannya adalah mengembangkan SIMPOA menjadi sebuah semantic system yang menyediakan berbagai fitur semantik, oleh sebab itu pada penelitian ini dibuat sebuah model ontologi sebagai basis penyimpanan informasi. Ontologi SIMPOA dibuat dengan menggunakan metode methontologi yang memiliki 8 tahapan, dan berdasarkan evaluasi ontologi dengan metode Ontology Quality Analysis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ontologi SIMPOA yang dibuat memilik sifat cukup informatif dengan Relationship Richness (RR) = 0.33, nilai Inheritance Richness (IR) = 3.0, dan Attribute Richness (AR) = 2.3.
