PENERAPAN METODE LOWEST SUPPLY LOWEST COST DAN STEPPING STONE DALAM MEMINIMUMKAN BIAYA TRANSPORTASI LARIS BUAH PEKANBARU

Permasalahan transportasi merupakan permasalahan yang membahas tentang pengoptimalan biaya transportasi dalam pendistribusian barang. Pendistribusian barang ke berbagai daerah tentunya membutuhkan biaya transportasi yang tidak sedikit jumlahnya sehingga diperlukan pengoptimalan biaya, seperti yang dialami oleh Toko Laris Buah Pekanbaru. Pengoptimalan biaya transportasi dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model transportasi. Model transportasi yang digunakan adalah metode Lowest Supply Lowest Cost (LSLC) dan stepping stone. Metode LSLC dimulai dengan mencari nilai persediaan terendah, mengalokasikan biaya terendah dari deretan persediaan terendah, mengurangi jumlah biaya dari permintaan dan persediaan, hingga nilai permintaan dan persedian terpenuhi. Sedangkan metode stepping stone diawali dengan menentukan nilai fisibel awal dengan metode north west corner. Berdasarkan kedua metode tersebut didapatkan biaya minimum transportasi untuk Toko Laris Buah Pekanbaru sebesar Rp. 4.705.000,00 setiap minggunya.
