Penerapan Poka Yoke Untuk Pembuatan Surat Delivery Order

Perusahaan shipping ini menyediakan berbagai macam jasa pengiriman ke berbagai negara di dunia. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang penulis temukan antara lain proses input data yang tidak efisien karena sistem yang masih manual, ketidaksesuaian antar data, kesalahan dalam memberikan informasi barang, dan lain sebagainya. Permasalahan tersebut mengakibatkan pembuatan surat DO yang mempengaruhi waktu pengiriman barang dan penilaian kinerja perusahaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, untuk mengetahui penyebab masalah serta mencegah dan menghilangkan kesalahan maka dilakukan identifikasi masalah dan pelaksanaan perbaikan pada proses pembuatan surat DO. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara, kemudian analisis menggunakan diagram sebab akibat (Cause Effect Diagram), dan terakhir penerapan Poka Yoke sebagai solusi perbaikan dari permasalahan yang ada. Hasil yang penulis dapatkan adalah waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat surat DO lebih cepat dari menit ke detik disertai dengan keakuratan informasi antar surat DO dan pengiriman yang sesuai sumber data utama. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan surat DO efektif dan efisien serta minim kesalahan melalui aplikasi Poka YokeReferences
