Pengaruh Tabir Filter Film Terhadap Tegangan Output Solar Sel Jenis Polycrystalline

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) menghasilkan tegangan listrik dari solar cell yang terkena paparan sinar matahari. Tinggi rendahnya tegangan yang dihasilkan adalah tergantung dari banyak sedikitnya sinar matahari yang mengenai panel solar cell. Bayangan yang menutupi solar cell dari sinar matahari secara langsung telah diteliti akan mengakibatkan penuruan tegangan keluaran secara drastis. Panel solar cell yang tertutup tidak akan bekerja sehingga akan mengurangi tegangan keluaran secara keseluruahan pada bagian yang tertutup tersebut. Namun demikian lapisan film yang menutupi panel solar cell tidak menutup cahaya matahari secara keseluruahn, akan tetapi mengurangi unsur sinar matahari yang sampai ke solar cell. Cahaya matahari tetap sampai tetapi unsur panas yang berkurang setelah melewati filter. Memalui penelitian ini diperoleh hasil tegangan akan tetap dihasilkan tetapi terdapat perbedaan dengan hasil paparan matahari secara langsung. Filter yang digunakan tidak hanya mengurangi panas pada solar cell jenis polycrystalline tetapi juga penurunan tegangan keluaran namun tidak terlalu besar. Manfaat tabir ini lebih besar pada penurunan suhu permukaan solar cell.
