ANALISA PENENTUAN KUALITAS AIR TASIK BERA DI PAHANG MALAYSIA BERDASARKAN PENGUKURAN PARAMETER FISIKA-KIMIA

Analisa penentuan kualitas air di Tasik Bera berdasarkan beberapa parameter fisika-kimia seperti suhu, konduktivitas, jumlah zat padat terlarut (TDS), oksigen terlarut (DO), pH, klorofil-a dan kekeruhan yang diukur secarain-situ di lapangan menggunakan alatHYDROLAB DataSonde®4 dan Surveyer®4a. Sedangkan parameter ammonia nitrogen (NH3N), fosfat (PO42-), nitrat (NO3), sulfat (SO42-), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), jumlah zat padat tersuspensi (TSS) ditentukan dengan metode APHA dan HACH. Kesadahan air (Ca dan Mg) ditentukan dengan menggunakan alat Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) model Pelkin Elmer Analist 800. Kualitas air Tasik Bera di kelaskan berdasarkan Piawaian Kualitas Air Kebangsaan (NWQS). Pengujian telah dilakukan di laboratorium Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi (FST) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.Hasil penelitian di Tasik Bera menunjukkan parameter suhu, konduktivitas, TDS, BOD, TSS berada dalam Kelas I. Parameter kekeruhan, sulfat, COD dan keliatan berada dalam Kelas II sedangkan parameter DO, pH dan ammonia nitrogen berada dalam Kelas III. Indeks Kualiti Air (IKA) ditentukan berdasarkan 6 parameter iaitu DO, BOD, COD, ammonia nitrogen, jumlah zat padat tersuspensi (TSS) dan pH. Tasik Bera mempunyai nilai IKA dengan rata-rata 72.40 ± 4.47, yang dikelaskan sebagai Kelas III (67.25 – 76.00).Secara umumnya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan parameter kualitas air di Tasik Bera dipengaruhi oleh perubahan musim dan kedudukan stesen persampelan.References
