MODEL PROPAGASI UNTUK KANAL RADIO BERGERAK PADA FREKUENSI 900 MHz DI KOTA PEKANBARU

Dalam suatu sistem telekomunikasi, model propagasi radio sangat dibutuhkan untuk melakukan suatu perancangan, pembangunan dan pengembangan sistem komunikasi bergerak. Model propagasi yang umum digunakan diantaranya adalah model Okumura-Hatta, model Cost 231 dan model Lee. Namun, model-model tersebut tidak dapat digunakan untuk menentukan model propagasi yang akurat pada suatu daerah tertentu, karena model-model tersebut bersifat umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan model propagasi untuk kanal radio bergerak pada frekuensi 900 MHz di kota Pekanbaru. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran daya terima menggunakan Tems Investigation pada kawasan yang telah di tetapkan. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran jarak antara MS dan BTS untuk mendapatkan data loss dan jarak yang bersesuaian. Model propagasi didapatkan berdasarkan data loss dan jarak yang bersesuaian menggunakan Software Matlab. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan Model Linier: L= 30 x D + 126, Model Kuadratik: L= 35,7 x D2 +3,53x D + 129, dan Model Kubik: L= -285 x D3 + 360 x D2 – 98,1 x D + 137. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan model propagasi yang paling mendekati hasil pengukuran adalah model propagasi Hatta Dense Urban.References
