EVALUASI TINGKAT KEMATANGAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL MATURITY LEVEL COBIT 4.1 (STUDI KASUS PT. BRI CABANG BANGKINANG)

Abstract

Implementasi teknologi informasi untuk mendukung Proses Bisnis dalam mencapai tujuannya sudah merupakan suatu kebutuhan yang sangat penting. Evaluasi terhadap peran teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan model Maturity level CobIT 4.1 sangat berguna untuk pengembang teknologi informasi maupun para pengelola. Evaluasi terhadap proses teknologi informasi perlu dilakukan agar proses bisnis yang ada pada PT. BRI Cabang Bangkinang tersebuat dapat melakukan perbaikan-perbaikan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan berdasarkan COBIT 4.1 khusus mengelola kualitas sistem informasi (PO8). Untuk mengevaluasi proses tersebut digunakan model maturity level.Maturity level akan mengukurtingkat kematangan TI saat ini dan harapan di masa yang akan datang. Pada penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peran teknologi informasi pada PT BRI Cabang Bangkinangberdasarkan model kematangan standar COBIT 4.1 khususnya pengelolaan kualitas system informasi (PO8)berada pada level3 (defined process). Kondisi di mana organisasi telah memiliki prosedur baku formal dan tertulis untuk mengelola kualitas TI dan telah disosialisasikan ke segenap jajaran manajemen dan karyawan untuk dipatuhi dan dijalankan dalam aktifitas sehari-hari. Hanya saja masih belumoptimal terhadap prosedur-prosedur pada PT BRI Cabang Bangkinang. Diperlukan standar operasional yang jelas untuk setiap system informasi yang digunakan, sehingga mampu mendukung pencapaian kinerja yang lebih baik bagi perusahaan.
